J Coyn Drive shows some huge potential with an ep which is pretty good. Yoda's production is at times fantastic and J Coyn rides these beats very well. I love the somber pianos and skittering drums of 9PM. The heavily autotuned hook of Ridin' works perfectly with the soaring flutes and Mosquito has a surprisingly good feature. J Coyn Drive puts out a pretty solid boom-bap EP. I was surprised of the consistency of this one. The beats all fit together and the vibe is there. While boom-bap isn't entirely my thing, I do get why people would really love this. I do enjoy the title track and there is only one song here that I'm quite mixed on. The man is still young too and the potential is really showing. Respectable work.

J Coyn Drive has potential to be one of the best rappers of all time and that isn't a joke in the slightest.
