VICIOUS VELOUR continues to refine his "Hyper-Hop" sound!

for an 18 minute record, this is absolutely ridiculous. there's a bit of a death grips influence, especially in the first half, and this is very much like death grips in that it's really weird hip hop with synthesized instrumentation. while the production isn't quite as good as on a DG record, it's still pretty good. velour goes pretty hard on most of the tracks on here, and a lot of them are pretty catchy and good tracks in general. sometimes this album is experimental to a fault, though ... read more
