CRITIC REVIEWS

Complex
The results? More excellent than one might imagine...or would want to give these two credit for.

Spin
As a guileless continuation of the escapist, dub-tinged blowout that Diplo effortlessly pursued with Major Lazer, it's one of the beatiest prizes of the year so far.

NME
If Skrillex and Diplo set out to make a record of good time party tunes that straddle their individual talents, they’ve done just that – ‘Skrillex And Diplo Presents Jack Ü’ crash lands squarely between tropical chart pop and dance tent-slaying EDM.
70
Rolling Stone
Though they begin most of its 10 tracks in familiar territory, they quickly push on to new ground, or at least new levels of intensity.

Pitchfork

While Jack Ü doesn't exactly roll the ball forward, or do much else to make listeners rethink the principal actors here, it's dumb, loud fun from two architects of the dumbest, loudest fun of the 2000s.

The Guardian
There are moments of interest on every song – the undulating vocal riff and little sonic pops that pepper Mind, for example – but nothing coalesces quite as well as Take Ü There.

Consequence of Sound
This album isn’t one that Skrillex and Diplo likely lost any sleep over. It’s a well-conceived marketing tool as the pair roll into this year’s festival season, and its consumption should be equally effortless: Grab a few friends, turn it up, and get lost.

Some serious bangers in this record like beats knockin; but a lot of lame and boring ones too

After the disappointing debut album "Recess", Skrillex decides to collab with Diplo to create a couple fun paty songs around 2014-2015.

The album has a impressive feature list with names like 2 Chainz and Justin Bieber. Jack Ü doesn't let either of the artists outshine each other
