NAV and Gunna bored me so much on the original that I decided to skip reviewing it because there wasn't anything to say about them that hasn't already been said. Don's verse was quite underwhelming but ultimately, switching out Nav and Gunna for Roddy was a good idea, his vocal inflections are really colorful and fun, the chorus still slaps.

THIS is what a remix should be.

They took one of my favorite melodic trap songs of the year, took off the two weak verses, and added possibly my favorite melodic trap artist currently in Roddy Ricch. Both him and Don Toliver body this. Don’s verse is a little underwhelming, but I would much rather hear it than a NAV verse

How do you make a top 10 song better? Add a Don Toliver verse and a Roddy Ricch verse. The production of the song has changed a little with some added background effects which really enhance the beat. Don Toliver's verse was short but it was so satisfying while Roddy Ricch fit the song really well with his rich vocals on his verse. Overall, the remix to 'Lemonade' made the song a bit better in all aspects and it's amazing to see what a group of producers can create from a throwaway.
