With this album and the EP "stanza", Thomas Meluch let the minimalist sounds and the simple and beautiful melodies take part on his catalog. And because of these we can expect much more to come, if he probably add this kind of creation to the lo-fi riffs he use to play. The best ambient record of the year so far.
Being an avid fan of Meluch's work, I am never disappointed by his work. Though, in cases like "Sonnet" I can be left feeling unaltered.
☆☆☆☆ ~ Astoundingly virtuous album. The carefully crafted production is ecstasy to my ears. It's a fascinating piece sculptured with a lushly quality sound design and very well conceived concept.
