It's clear a lot of love went into crafting The White Stripes Greatest Hits, and its quirks should make it all the more endearing to fans and newcomers alike.
With a band as consistent and productive as the White Stripes, one can argue all day about what songs a greatest hits collection is missing. But if you focus on how well the collection reflects the band’s evolution, career markers, and overall dynamism, the way most fans heard them – on record rather than in concert – then The White Stripes Greatest Hits is simply hard to beat.
This is just another excuse for me to be listening to The whole White Stripes discography again. The White Stripes really have no bad songs in my opinion, so this album greatest hits couldnt really pick anything that i would be dissatisfied with. But even though i wish some other songs like Offend in Every way, Cannon, black math, the air near my fingers etc. Would make the cut but there were definatly pleasant suprises in here.
