Before the release of this third album Paddy was quoted as saying he was intent on making his version of 'Rain Dogs' - I guess his tongue was planted loosely in his cheek because really only three songs here hint at that sort of eclectic experimentation; 'Cannibals' and 'Sinatra' are rickety 'theme music for Black Books' type numbers with all sorts of theatrical vocals popping up, while 'Jog On Shall We' is a whimsical stream of consciousness 'a day in the life' faux journal entry that's ... read more
