His newest release is an hour-long suite that aims to pack in as many hooks, guests, melodies and trap beats as possible, and succeeds with flying colours.

AllMusic
It's a testament to his vision and do-it-all ability that he can work with roughly 50 fellow producers and guest artists and line up the results for an hour-long set with tracks that flow forth like they're being decanted. Moreover, this is a strong reaffirmation of his eagerness to adapt to any set of collaborators.

NME
It’s a victory lap for Ty Dolla $ign’s quietly influential career to date, the sound of an artist embracing the worldview he has helped to curate.

Clash
An often hit and miss experience, ‘Featuring’ exposes the vast creativity of feature culture, while also platforming its flaws. An unwieldy listen that still carries huge expectation, Ty Dolla $ign’s latest album holds nothing back – that’s its beauty, but also its deepest flaw.

Pitchfork

Featuring cements his legacy as a singular, eminent artist — a point he has made again and again and again, but he still sounds so good proving it.

Rolling Stone

Featuring Ty$ reaffirms his gifts as a savvy songwriter who knows precisely how and when to introduce tension, dimension, and even warmth to his casual womanizing.

Slant Magazine
The album is a mostly enjoyable listen, but it highlights its maker’s shortcomings as much as it does his sly appeal.

I liked it more at first but I took a break after song 19 and I came back, and for some reason I didn't enjoy it as much today. Some songs are better than others, some songs sounded just boring but overall it was alright.

this is what vultures wanted to be.
really fun and consistent album, the focus is more of the vibe/experience than anything lyrically, so dont go into this album expecting anything deeply profound or lyrical. fun album though.
the songs blend into eachother really well and the transitions between some songs are so seamless that i didnt even realize they happened half the time. the beat switches in the middle of some songs also add to these song transitions
overall, nice blend of r&b and ... read more
