grew on me a lot. It is a pretty unique project that has a cool concept that I really briefed over because it was about weed. It is more than that. I come back to this album here and there
honestly a terrific album. there isnt too much depth to cudi's lyrics, and the beats get slightly repetitive, but there is so much emotion is his voice and his singing is parallel to his rapping. the epitome of "chill" albums, this would be a great album to study to or ust hang out with this playing. psychedelic hip hop at its best. although, kanye and common contributed to the worst song on this LP, the lady gaga sample was a little hard to listen to. however, pursuit of ... read more

I haven't realized this until now, but... I love Scott, I love the production, I love the lyrics, I love the vocal performance, I love the vibes, I love Common's narration and I love all the Nightmare tracks. Cudi should be taken more seriously.
Even the songs I used to despise are some favourites now.

BEST ! : Cudi Zone, Solo Dolo, Day N Nite, Alive, Pursuit of Happiness

WEAKEST ! : My World
I really only enjoy Day N Night and Soundtrack 2 Mind. Everything else is so slow it feels like my head is rubbing up against sandpaper. I'm so groggy after listening to songs like My World or Make Her Say that it feels like I have a massive headache coming on. As for the themes, Idk, I feel like SB2H did it better.

Kid Cudi's debut album is actually surprisingly good.

Man On The Moon: The End Of The Day really shows that Cudi has potential, and you can't deny that he is certainly ambitious. He's really trying his best here to make the best thing he can, and he succeeds for the most part. With songs like Soundtrack 2 My Life, Day 'N' Nite, and Pursuit Of Happiness, you can really see that Cudi has it in him to make something great. Those are all stand-out songs which show that he can ... read more
