Northern Transmissions

‘Toner’ is a rich document of musical experimentation; the EP took form in the group’s rehearsal space where they would work on the tracks in a live setting “until it felt good”, meaning each song would be built up, ripped apart and reshaped, encapsulating the true essence of the collective.


The ‘Toner EP’ expands PVA’s universe and ultimately turns in more evidence that this is a group to keep a close eye on.

Despite a derailed year, PVA push forward with a debut EP custom-built for sweaty raves in some of the capital's darkest rooms.
A quite catchy EP, with songs that have many things happening at the same time and riffs that give a funk feeling, "Talk" is an example of this, Josh Baxter (Guitar/Vocals/Synths) and Ella Harris (Vocals/Synths) complement the song very well with their voices, it's like a great echo.
