After an illegal remix made him a TikTok hit, the Brooklyn rapper-singer struggles to create an identity on his new album,  enlisting high-profile guests like Kanye, Lil Uzi Vert, and Future in the effort.

Saint Jhn fell into the trap, and it's not a bad play on words. This third project While The World Was Burning could have taken Saint Jhn a step further artistically, but conversely, it accentuates the fact that it is classified in the group of bangers creators, but how long will it last? Too calculated, but without being efficient.

Having discovered him in 2016 on Soundcloud, Saint John is one of the hybrid artists with a very interesting potential, which I'm sure is still there today. ... read more
I understand why most people would tend to dislike this record or feel indifferent towards it, as it's evidently worse than his two other efforts and is probably serving as a throwaway treat project for die-hard fans. Everybody's allowed to be extremely biased once in a while though, and I am in this case. I absolutely adore SAINt JHN's style and I just crave for new music from him. I'm probably rating this super high because I'm a new SAINt JHN listener and only knew him from the 'Roses (Imanbek Remix)' which blew up on Tik Tok. The main reason for why I even chose to listen to this was because of one of the singles, 'Sucks to Be You' which immediately sucked me into his world and fascinated me with a mix of vocals and production that I've never heard before. 'While the World Was Burning' took me by surprise, with its magnificent 12 tracks that fit together to form a ... read more
Burning? This feels like a burnt fry,too solid to digest.
Yup,that's the shitty pun i came up with. Clown me,but at least i tried lmao. EDIT: LET THE WORLD BURN.

So,umm,Saint JHN came back with another record and yea,it's solid and satisfying enough for me. I really expected less from him, since the only songs i actually know him from were Roses and Sucks To Be You,which really made me believe all his songs will sound the same, and they didn't. He actually shows some variety on here and ... read more
