The debut album from the uncompromising rapper was released one week before his untimely death. It delivers a concentrated dose of his tense, menacing take on drill.

I decided to delete my review. R.I.P. Von,may you rest in peace bro. I'll miss your aggressive delivery and energy. This has been one of the worst weeks ive ever had. My uncle just died from corona,my dog yesterday and now Von dies too. What a shitty fucking year...

I’m not gonna pretend like I listened to King Von prior to his passing. I knew of his existence, but I hadn’t really gotten into his music. And, while Von certainly hadn’t perfected his crafted while he was alive, for someone who was just starting his career, Von showed a lot of promise here. When King Von is really in his bag is when he is creating hard-hitting and grimy trap bangers which remind me a lot of NLE Choppa, Lil Durk, Polo G, and other rappers in the field of ... read more

King von comes through with a pretty high energy tracklist with cool production. This album really isn't one that falls under the category of a standard, boring trap album. In quite a few ways king von is lyrically and stylistically similar to NLE choppa but this album is better than anything NLE choppa has released in my opinion.

Lyrically this album is pretty one dimensional. With the whole premise of the album being based on topics of gang violence, guns etc. Despite the pretty bog ... read more

RIP King Von.

He clearly had a lot of potential and it showed on here. He had some great beat selection and he managed to stand out on here with a lot of energy amongst a lane of identity-less trap artists. It’s truly sad that we won’t get to hear him progress as an artist.
