While remaining delicate throughout. Windswept Adan is a landscape, an aquatic world to be lost within, and one from which you’ll scarcely want to emerge.
On Windswept Adan, Aoba expands her repertoire of sound and brings collaborators into her vision, yet she still holds on to the wistful imagination that allows her to dream up private universes.
Aoba's hushed voice makes for an immersive meld of indie-folk, classical and jazz.
Windswept Adan demonstrates universal emotions, reflections on growth and maturing through measured progress. It speaks, and is heard, without applying any undue force.
As I listen to Windswept Adan for what is probably the eighth or ninth time, it feels like a record worlds away from the one I first listened to in front of the television on my tatty settee.

One of the most beautiful and purest sounds that my JBL Tune 510BT headphones delivered to my ears. When i heard this album for the first time when it came out i thought it was just okay, as at that time ambient music was in my opinion just NPC sounds to put white people to sleep. I love it.
