It's tough for me to say anything super negative about this album besides its pacing. At times, it was too slow and dragged on unnecessarily, but other times just worked for me. It's a decent 2021 album, though.

Ominous was quietly shocking for me, like grabbing a nettle. I'd heard some of the "hits" from Lake of Tears but not paid attention. When I turned on "At the Destination," with its pulsing siren-esque electronics, plaintive strings, and its odd yet wonderful vocals... it was a bit brain-melting.
