Sade, the high priestess of understated cool, heats up on the fabulous ”No Ordinary Love,” which surges with emotion, but the mostly lush ambient music on Love Deluxe is low on the oomph meter.

What a beautiful damn album. I had some high expectations going into this, Considering the fact that many consider Love Deluxe as one of the best soul albums of the 90's, And well, needless to say that Sade is absolutely god damn gorgeous, And this album cover made me feel things I didn't knew I was capable of feeling. And yup, This album is an incredible dare I say spiritual experience that feels like a huge warm hug.

This, to me, is the perfect example of more is less. The empty ethereal instrumentals created in these songs that fuse soul, sophisti-pop, and somewhat trip-hop together so well is something amazing. Not to mention Sade herself, her voice here is really just something else. Definitely need to hear more from her, such a magical album that feels religious in a way. Just sit back and listen to the sounds of Sade healing your soul in 45 minutes but somehow only feeling like 15.
