Even though the album contains a lot of fun, chaotic moments, Sweet Trip sound more comfortable taking it slow this time around, and while the hooks aren't as obvious as they were on the band's previous two releases, it's still an immersive experience that rewards repeated listens.

The Needle Drop

Sweet Trip is mostly unaffected by the comeback curse on A Tiny House.

The idea of finding Sweet Trip again was becoming endless, like a bottle in the sea. The album A Tiny House In Secret Speeches Polar Equals sounded like a mirage that we didn't want to believe, but it is real, a chance for us passionate. With some nuances, the new adventure is really fantastic, like a dream that only the Sweet Trip architects can offer us.

This may just be my favorite album of the year thus far. A trip through candy valley, Sweet Trip's new record takes us across a colorful and dreamy electronic landscape over its near 70-minute runtime.

You'd wonder what kind of ideas Sweet Trip could come up with in 12 years. Although the sound is not all that new, it's still so beautiful. Sweet Trip never fails at making me feel like I'm floating in the dark, and this album really gives me that melancholic float. The band sounds really mature and incredibly emotional at times, you could really tell that they've been stuck with these melodies and amazing arrangements for a while.
