A Tiny House… is a wonderful album in its own right, shimmering, soothing and startling at the opportune moments and confirming all the wonderful things everyone already knew about Sweet Trip: that’s no mean feat, conservative a scope as it may be.

Even though the album contains a lot of fun, chaotic moments, Sweet Trip sound more comfortable taking it slow this time around, and while the hooks aren't as obvious as they were on the band's previous two releases, it's still an immersive experience that rewards repeated listens.

The Needle Drop

Sweet Trip is mostly unaffected by the comeback curse on A Tiny House.

This may just be my favorite album of the year thus far. A trip through candy valley, Sweet Trip's new record takes us across a colorful and dreamy electronic landscape over its near 70-minute runtime.

The journey wasn’t exactly pleasant for a few reasons, but my headphones and all four of the band’s albums on repeat assisted in making the trip a relatively sweet one after all. I almost felt indebted to Val and Roby for the therapeutic bliss that accompanied me on many more a car ride.

Fast forward several months to my vinyl copy of “You Will Never ... read more

Doesn't match up to Sweet Trips previous albums but still comes through with some good tracks. Many of the tracks feel dated although. Best: In Sound-We Found Each Other, The Weight of Comfort-This Rain is Comfort, Come Spend the Night. Worst: Eave Foolery Mill Five.

EDIT - was 90, now idk. What a creep Roby is
