Other than being a little predictable, I really enjoyed this record. She creates a vibe that is unlike many other artists right now. Her sound is very chill but makes you wanna dance at the same time.

Such a surprisingly dynamic and colorful album! I listened to this on a whim and I was surprised at how eclectic and diverse the tracklist was and how rich the instrumentals are — it all kinda coheres behind her voice, which is quite high-pitched and distinctive (similar to NAO's voice). The album conjures up a sort of atmosphere that is quite unique and worldbuilding in a way that I haven't seen many replicate this year
Amaarae knows what she wants, and just how to get it. Her music is insistently affirmative, driven by hooks like "Every day is mine, I flex" and "I just wanna get paid, yeah!" that are nonchalant enough to not feel overly-demanding while still getting you to do anything she asks.
