Concrete Castles comes back with by far their best album yet. I saw that this was inspired by Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and I can definitely see the influences. It makes for what is easily their most interesting project yet, and one that surprisingly has very few moments that I didn't like. The teaser track Unopinionated ... read more

A return to the dark and melancholic after a handful of more playful projects, Onanon seeps itself in the murky recesses of what the world has become

At 53 minutes long the 9 tracks average out to nearly 6 minutes a song, this allows most of the pieces to move at their own pace, not getting rushed by any standard convention within songwriting and instead find the space to show off what each idea can truly be. As most of the album is instrumental with just a few vocal samples acting as ... read more
