This album represents not only my childhood, but also what we know today as Melodic Power Metal. Before "through fire and flames", their first teamwork was an exceptional result of combining video game sounds with the familiar style of Power Metal. This CD, as well as many others from this same band, represent the epic side that Rock can show.

This really may be the greatest power metal album ever. There was a point in my life when Dragonforce was my favorite band so I’ve decided to revisit their albums to what has held up now that I actually have some taste. I am very glad to say that this album is still so good to me. It is so rare to listen to power metal and not experience the worst cringe imaginable but somehow this band just knew how to make it great.
