Lande Hekt's delightful accent adds a layer of whimsy to these well-wrought and balanced songs. her solo work here does not vary greatly from her role in Muncie Girls (who are from Exeter, not Indiana), but it does allow her lyrics to get more attention. this is a good thing because she is an able lyricist and songwriter. the sound is somewhat similar to Fenne Lily's last record, but Fenne is more folky and Lande is more indie rock, so I didn't mind it. this one checks all my boxes, so I am ... read more
