‘Private Reasons’ is Pernadas most ambitious album to date. It’s also his most rewarding. The songs are filled with luscious melodies. They feel familiar, but they aren’t.

Smooth as butter; Summery, exotic, and psychedelic pop at its finest, 2021’s Summer Soundtrack has finally arrived in all its grandeur and glory.

Pernadas and his collaborators are able to fuse so many elements of pop, psychedelia, and jazz in a way that sounds so natural that you might not even realize everything that’s going into it. I know it’s on the longer side, but trust ... read more
