After working with Died and Proven to Cure, Fire Man decided to embark on his own solo music path with his first EP, Overcoming the Cycle of Sun Collapse. I liked this more than any of Died's work, but I do think this album doesn't quite cross that mark for me. Enjoyable noisy post-hardcore EP. The vocals are alright and the songwriting is interesting enough. Very competent record overall.
