Rolling Stone

On Thats What They All Say, Harlow wallows in his newfound fame, raises the guardedness necessary to maintain sanity as a celebrity, and reps Louisville like his life depends on it.

The Observer

His breezy, poppy confessionals are indeed charismatic, and coast along – to use a word that’s often deployed to describe him – effortlessly.

-5 for having Tory Lanez AND Chris Brown on your album in December 2020.

Jack Harlow is someone who I thought had potential but wasn’t heading on a path to really capitalize on it. This manifested in his EP from earlier this year, which I did not like. I did really love What’s Poppin though, and I thought Tyler Herro was a solid single as well. I also like him personally so I had hopes for this album, and while it is decent and an improvement, he still has some obvious flaws he can ... read more

Jack Harlow delivers way more than I expected with his debut album "That's What They All Say", even if most of its content is really forgettable, he occasionally bumps into a possible hit, proving himself capable of creating some neat trap tracks outside of "Whats Poppin".

This is a huge improvement over the terrible EP he dropped earlier this year and a step in the right direction, the production is far more ambitious, he's a lot closer to finding his signature style and ... read more

Jack made a Drake album better then Drake.

Harlow finally dropped his debut album and,i'm not gonna lie, this hits home. It's the exact same amount of quality that i expected. He pulled through. Sure, singles delivered much better bangers and made me think this will have a lot of that, but,in the end,he kept it clean and actually had some good rapping highlights, like some decent storytelling and introspective tracks.

His admirable confidence makes the project feel like something much more ... read more

I'll make a serious review whenever Jack Harlow makes an original project

.... Fine, I'll do it.

Jack Harlow's debut project has something I was not looking forward to. The only track I really enjoyed from him was 'WHAT'S POPPIN', but even that wasn't exactly very great. Earlier this year, I decided to listen to his EP 'Sweet Action' which was absolutely atrocious. Boring, unoriginal, trap trash with only 1 good track. I do believe the kid has a lot of potential. He is able to pull off some ... read more
