Oh man, this is rough.
I used to love Bastille. I'd put on Bad Blood or Wild World and watch my worries wash away as the carefree attitude of Dan Smith and co. consistently made me happy. Gradually, after the release of Wild World in 2016, my love for the band began to diminish, but my appreciation for them did not. One day we will, as a society, move on from Imagine Dragons and realize the real enemy has been in front of us the whole time: Bastille.
I've said in the past that I could listen to Dan Smith sing anything, and this remains true - but since "Doom Days", Bastille have been heading in a direction that I'm notably less keen on compared to their earlier work.

Goosebumps is their worst song by far imo, one of the worst songs I've heard from the latter half of 2020 yikes
