Listening to this song I can see the more simplistic and folk aesthetic that she wanted to take with Let Me Love You Like A Woman. Perhaps many will not like this direction that Lana is bringing but I think it complements another side of her, being the artist quite notorious for bringing completely different albums I am not surprised by this change. I'm already crying just thinking about listening to the album.

Okay, I like this a lot. Lana plays it quite safe here, opting for the infectious, slow country pop ballad aesthetic whilst bearing commercial charts in mind with that tsunami she spewed for a chorus, bloody hell did she crush that! If she'd steered the song as a whole in a more experimental direction I've no doubt the effectiveness of this record would've been increased tenfold. Lukewarm for me.
