Words can't describe how excited I am.
My favorite white woman is back with a subdued title track for her upcoming album and I'm obsessed. Not only does this track have a unique vocal flow, but it encapsulates a recent vision I've been having for a while now which only helped me connect more with it. The themes Lana has displayed over the last year for this new record give me heavy trailer park vibes and I'm honestly here for it. As depressing and restrained as this can sound, her incredible ...

9/10
i had mixed feelings on the first single but this is an absolutely splendid track and has me a lot more excited for the new record. that chorus melody is a fucking cheat code. the atmosphere in the last minute and a half specifically feels so fresh.
ppl are gonna hate regardless.
lana may constantly disappoint on the album covers and tone-deaf comments, but the songs never disappoint omfg
Listening to this song I can see the more simplistic and folk aesthetic that she wanted to take with Let Me Love You Like A Woman. Perhaps many will not like this direction that Lana is bringing but I think it complements another side of her, being the artist quite notorious for bringing completely different albums I am not surprised by this change. I'm already crying just thinking about listening to the album.
i’m sorry about my original review, it was incredibly insensitive.
but yeah, this song is pretty nice
Okay, I like this a lot. Lana plays it quite safe here, opting for the infectious, slow country pop ballad aesthetic whilst bearing commercial charts in mind with that tsunami she spewed for a chorus, bloody hell did she crush that! If she'd steered the song as a whole in a more experimental direction I've no doubt the effectiveness of this record would've been increased tenfold. Lukewarm for me.
it’s pretty dull. I don’t find the instrumental that evocative and while Lana has a reasonably compelling vocal performance there are plenty of singer-songwriters who would do just as well or better with this
also can she shut the fuck up already please
Lana delivered her best music video yet, but the song... is good but textbook Del Rey.
A good single but nothing special. It feels a little formulaic besides the last 2 minutes of the song. I wish she would experiment a little more instead of staying in her comfort zone. Nonetheless, I'm still excited for her new album.
Lana Del Rey's new single didn't dissapoint, her low-key vocals are supported by some light and somber folk instrumentation. I like what Lana does here with her vocals and how she effectively builds up the intensity of the song as it progresses, but I can't help but feel like the lyrics, while sweet and melancholic, read more like a bunch of distant memories rather than a cohesive story. The stripped back drum based outro is a nice touch too, and while Lana does play it pretty safe here, it's ...

LDR: how about 30 seconds of softbrushed solo jazz drums

Lana's been worrying me for a while in relation to this album, seeing how disappointed I was by its lead single, 'Let Me Love You Like a Woman,' along with her ignorant comments in the past. I'm glad to say that this new single's dissuaded half of those worries (because Lord knows the only way you're going to get that typewriter away from Lana is by prying it from her cold, dead fists.) The album's titular track, 'Chemtrails Over the Country Club' is reminiscent of the best of her ...

White woman makes a good White song for good White folk
so much better than lmlylaw, it's much more interesting, well-written, and doesn't sound as much like a nfr b-side. i will never understand the drum solo though
Yeah. I can definitely vibe with this a whole lot more than Let Me Love You Like A Woman. This has a far greater impact, the wistful feel of the song and a more rhythmic approach lead the song to feel hypnotic, it really envelops you. I'm enjoying this the more I hear it, score subject to change. I was quite nervous about the forthcoming album after the first single which I enjoyed but wasn't gripped by. I may enjoy it more in the context of the album. I'm really excited now. Perhaps Lana's ...

-1 point for the chainmail masks in the music video
After boring talking to music, it was time to create the good music that we expected.
I love her, but I hate her... but I love her
surprisingly I liked the song better after listening to it without watching the music video, there was too much going on but I'm very excited for this new era
