An incredibly underrated psych-rock gem from the late 60s. I'm not a big fan of The Pretty Things, but I can't help but love this record. It's undeniably their best work. 1968 was one hell of a year in music.

One of the most underrated albums and bands of their time. Also just an amazing psychedelic rock album. The only reason this album isn’t as known as Abbey Road and Piper at the Gates of Dawn is that people didn’t like its depressing story. People at that time didn't want to hear the depressing, but oddly realistic music.

As much as I’d like to dislike this album for being so derivative, I do actually enjoy the music. Unfortunately, I found myself very tempted to just turn it off and play the Beatles multiple times. This is one of those albums that is really good but I will probably never have a reason to listen to it again. It has some great psychedelic, fuzzy, and even some experimental moments.
