In spite of it's sonic dryness, and the lack of outstanding moments within the songwriting, Sand manages to keep it's listener consistently engaged by it's solid choruses, and danceable melodies.

Okay, I honestly wasn't expecting it to be that solid, and actually, after hearing the singles I really thought they were stylistically going back again to their first three records, which, while very decent, sounded all exactly the same. At first you would demand for a harder groove infection but then you realize the groove that is currently being given is already enough. "Just gotta keep it movin'" as what they chant in Leaving Antwerp. Also, album artwork of the year. Period.
