alphabet holds hostage creates a truly beautiful ep that combines shoegaze with ambient.
i recommend this to any fans of either genre

What an astonishingly beautiful EP, fabulous sounds of shoegaze with the subtlety of a great ambient record.
This collection of what would sound like noise to the unattentive ear is, in reality, an incredibly thought out masterpiece of composition with the perfect amount of vocals sprinkled throughout to not take attention off of the amazing music being played.

I am BEGGING you to listen to this. It's incredible. This is a new EP by prolific musician Swallowtail, and the second EP under Alphabet Holds Hostage. If I'm being completely honest, this is one of the best things they've ever done. It's beautiful for the full 30 minutes, and is never boring. There are also more vocals on this EP than 'held hostage' had, and they're amazing. The lyricism is poetic, and the delivery is spectacular as well. This is an interesting wee shoegaze EP which is a varied and interesting listen, some ideas are not as interesting as others but overall a rewarding listen
