The low-key yet perfectly formed track sees the rappers – at the top of their game in their respective countries – peel back the layers to explore selfhood.
The worst slowthai single in a while, and yet it's not exactly awful. My disappointment with this track came from the very high expectations I had aswell as the thought that I wanted the track to be a hard hitting banger. The style of the track definitely threw me off guard as it was a little bit more lighthearted then I expected. The production just seemed a little bit off and I'm not sure. Nothing about slowthai's or rocky's performances were terrible but they must seemed...strange.
Why does this weirdly remind of me Self Titled Carti? Maybe i'm just trippin', but slowthai sounds neat af on this, plus, a new Rocky feature is a W in my book.

My first time listening to slowthai and I'm already amazed with how wonderful this sounds as it's an interesting trap track, being more unique than almost anything going on in trap currently. slowthai sounds stunning as he mixes all his influences into one on this track to create an outstanding sound along with A$AP Rocky who really proves why he's so hyped using his signature sound to significantly improve the track. ... read more

'MAZZA' is pretty good! It's a single where slowthai just makes a straight forward upbeat and woozy trap banger with Rocky, who ends up being the most interesting part about the track, the woozy beat hits hard. Slowthai's performance here kinda falls flat for me though, aside from his weird (in the good sense) vocal inflections and the decent chorus, there's not much to write home about, really missing his raw and gritty lyricism in some of these new singles.
Edit: The instrumental on this ... read more
