Cassandra Jenkins' sophomore album is quite a treat; that damn saxophone hits the spot! I love her songwriting on this record. Tracks like New Bikini and Ambiguous Norway showcase her vulnerability, as recalls the moments hearing of David Berman's death. And I'm not much for spoken word tracks, but Hard Drive is fucking incredible, it's definitely my favorite of 2021. I love the double meaning. I hope people give it a listen.

Everyday life is something so complex, yet so simple. I think this is where the beauty of this album lies on — simplistic melodies making everything so comfortable without turning it boring. This album was very enjoyable! I really like the ethereal quality that was on this album, even with the last track basically just 3 mins of ambient nose I still think it really added to the album’s thematic presence of reminiscent memories and love and loss. My personally favorite tracks are New bikini, hard drive (which is one of my favorites songs of 2021 so far!) and hailey. Would recommend this album to anybody who enjoys Cassandra Jenkins or even folk indie and indie pop! :)
