A deft step outside of hood braggadocio, 'Destined 2 Win' makes his ambitions explicit, but it truly thrives when Lil Tjay leaves his feelings and his creativity exposed.

Destined 2 Win drags on a bit past the 40-minute mark, but the track sequence thoughtfully arranges Lil Tjay's different approaches so that he's never in one mode long enough for it to feel redundant.

coming off the back of his great debut, destined 2 win was destined 2 fail. his 2019 debut perfectly encapsulated the melodic trap wave that peaked that year when artists like Polo G, Quando Rondo, and YNW Melly were popping off. his vocals were perfect, he had infectious melodies, and the only thing that could be improved was his production (which was a little lackluster but still crazy atmospheric and perfectly mixed). i was excited when the first single of this album, "Move On", ... read more

The two had worked ... read more
Ain’t no WAY Lil Tjay Bozo used Drake’s iconic work verse on Born 2 Be Great. Nah.But seriously, I think the only good songs are the singles. There are no good songs. This is so trash.
His whiny nasal flow is so annoying holy shit. Luckily he shows a tiny bit of versatility and manages to make Destined 2 Win just mid instead of unlistenable.
