I randomly came across this record last week. I saw the cover and I found that maybe this would be worth a listen. And it definitely was worth the time! This LP is 30 minutes of non stop boom bap Hip Hop. The album never ceases to slow down. It keeps the listener on this high level and keeps them there for the whole ride. This one is worth a listen.
Kev Brown's best I've heard in a few years really. Bouncy, jazzy boom bap produced by Brown, Scienide and with cuts from DJ Jon Doe to give it that old school scratch and samples sound. A must-hear for fans of dusty old soul samples and socially conscious, culturally rich content.
Some fun beats with plenty of dope lyrics to back it, It was nice listen for some down to earth hip hop. Although it doesn’t blow other albums out of the water or is innovative it still can be enjoyed by many fans of the genre
