After the first two tracks, I thought I was going to spend a long and frustrating time listening to this, but it turned out to be a fun and pleasant moment! The diversity of the featuring artists and the variety of genre used are a huge strength in this record.

The first album of 2021 to capture my attention. This plunderphonic infused trip hop album was engaging all the way through by using interesting samples and some hard hitting boom bap beats. Production was good paired with appropriate features, song transitions and a diverse array of sounds which meant for an interesting listen. This album was very close to being very, very good. There's a lot of really interesting sounds going on and some great production, but i think some delivery was off. There were a few very skippable songs, but for the most part, the album was quite good, but not quite a favorite of January so far. If anything, it got me more interested in checking out Wax Tailor's other work.
