A new songwriter and better production would compliment this so much.

Edit: I feel like everyone is shitting on this because of preconceived Disney charisma plus the fucking snap clap beat but I keep coming back to this. The thing that doesn't make this bad are the good vocal moments, the story that is very clear and vivid, and it breaks out of the pop formula. WOW! An artist (especially a young one) who can be considered mainstream in specific terms, went without formula thank God. Listen to ... read more
There's this Todd in the Shadows quote I'm very interested in where he says "the worst isn't the song that's the most bad, it's the song that has the least good." I've pondered this quote in my mind for a long time, seeing if I agree with it. The bridge is also awesome. Hoping for more great things from her.
The push you attain when you jump from one career in the mainstream to another is so immense, you can't deny it. Sometimes I find myself vehemently against the emergence of artists seemingly out of nowhere but actually, they've paid the big wigs money to get into an industry they clearly don't belong in. Of course, you could be brilliant in various fields like an odd Da Vinci, but having a tough as nails singing range doesn't warrant the artistry you require to be a credible artist. One of the ... read more
