One of their greatest albums. Despite popular opinions that "new" Nickelback sucks, this album combines their best ballads (Lullaby, Trying Not To Love You), fun heavier songs (Gotta Get Me Some, Everything I Wanna Do, Kiss It Goodbye, Midnight Queen) and songs that are like stuck in between those two (When We Stand Together, Don't Ever Let It End). This Means War took the longest to grow on me despite being the closest to previous works
Really terrible and soulless album
Well not judging by the cover
Wow! A Nickelback album that doesn't totally suck! Compared to All the Right Reasons and Dark Horse, this sounds like "Abbey Road".
To be fair, some mild respect has to be given to Kroeger and friends for continuing to master a formula in this day and age.
