Some of the worst brigading I've seen on this site. Simz fans should be ashamed.
2w
when this mess goes down in history as the no.1 album of 2021 lol
2w
Man i know you guys love simbi, and don’t get me wrong, i do too, but this obsesion with the critic score is so weird, just appreciate simbi for its greatness instead of dragging down something else to “prove” its greatness
2w
i need melon review this to down this absurd score
2w
move bitch get out the way
2w
SIMBI WILL PASS THIS
2w
simbi would've passed this if it weren't for p4k 🙄🙄🙄

I had to skip the last "song (?)" after I heard this lad saying "I H A V E A L O V E" for like the 100th time on this album
2mo
can someone please tell me what the hype is about this album i literally haven’t even listened to it and i just don’t know why it’s rated so high but for some reason it seems sus

revisited for a third time, if only the great ideas he presents were performed better

Get's boring so fast in every song, don't let the website trick you into thinking this is AOTY.
4mo
the lyrics are good, but the album is boring AF
4mo
there are a lot of good ideas here but it's execution is so painfully mediocre
4mo

4mo
NME apparently gives 100 to any crap these days
5mo
istg this site sometimes🙄
5mo
wait why is the critical acclaim high but the user score is low
5mo
I didn’t listen to this, but how does it have a 91 critic score and also a 69 user score lmao

I don't normally comment, but in this case I'm quite disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm from users about this quite remarkable album. I can tell the real music lovers here. The transition from uplifting to bleak to uplifting again took me with it, unsuspecting, and totally bought in. The spoken word is written with intelligence and meaning. The music which sits behind it is technically complexed and delivered with excellence. It fits the mood of the lyrics and takes you on the ride.
Go into this with your full attention and an open mind and you have one the best LPs this year already. (Alongside floating point.....another masterpiece)

The british music press staight up loses their shit every time a mildly above decent british/irish record comes out, and starts giving out 10s like there's no tomottow. Like is an Independent or Nme 10 has any significance anymore?
5mo
Is this really spare ribs 2.0? Critic love it, users.... not so much? and in both cases it was an overreaction on both ends?
5mo
reviews for this album be like "goo goo gaga spoken word bad goo goo gaga im american and cant handle accents ooga booga"
5mo
overrated or not y'all mad for putting this under 70
5mo
Brilliant album. Loved it back to front.
5mo
