FIRST LISTEN: Although some songs might sound like an 80s advert in places, Paradigmes is an incredibly fun and refreshing take on the Western pop genre which other nations could learn a lesson or two from. Proper tunes to dance to.

La Femme takes us for a tour across the United States, France and the United Kingdom at Paradigmes … and it is, with a few exceptions, an entertaining and colourful experience and a fresh flashback to the sound of synthpop from the 1980s.

People can't understand how cringe can La Femme be with those french weird lyrics, I wish I couldn't understand their work.

Anyway, great production and some funny ideas.

It’s the first time I’ve tasted some of the French popular sound, which fell on my mouth in a totally different new language. And look, I quietly say that the French, in addition to good taste in fashion they also have great taste in music! This is incredible!

This album is just an absolute ride. I got whiplash from how many different bold directions this album swerved towards.

attractive artwork to a long ass tiresome album... la femme tried so hard to sound/be avant-garde with this but every detail in the whole project is just too samey and familiar. can't even say it had any standout track cuz i barely remember how they sounded like

La Femme are back with their third album 'Paradigmes'. And I kinda dislike it. This album is probably a lot more fun if you don't speak French, which is the same response I had to the new Feu! Chatterton album. Don't get me wrong there's tracks I dig but the lyrics really really ruin it for me. La Femme's third record does not only prove they are getting better on each album they drop but they are also stating that there's no one quite like them or doing what they're doing in the music industry today. Brilliant, exciting, fun, and cinematic.

This is an animated, storytelling, and grand album. It’s worst sin is being inconsistent. Its authentic colors shine the most, being unable to be dimmed and come out in a lifelike fashion. Désolé les gars mais ça sonne vraiment trop corny et prétentieux. En revanche c'est plutôt bien produit.

The blending of voices and synth sound of this was really nice, I have not heard anything like it! Well done.

I can see this growing on me more but I'm glad I decided to check out this new La Femme record as it hit me with a rush of well crafted, gorgeous and at times theatrical leaning pop music with some amazing production and beautiful synth work. Towards the mid-point of the album, at about Disconnexion, the project hits a stride with one great track after another all the way until the closer. I don't even know French but I can still tell this is a great album.

They don't care and they prove it in this record, is amazing, is so well produced and is their best record.

while not understanding almost everything they said, when i did switch the lyrics to english i did actually like them and thought they were well written. for me the sounds and production of this album really carries the weight, the whole album feels like this digital dream, which the album cover does a perfect job of putting the sound of the album into a picture. the aesthetic does wear out unfortunately in the middle of the album with songs 7-9 being quite forgettable and bland in ... read more

Esta bien muy a la Yelle moderno suave y relajante pero no creo que nada del otro mundo, la verdad es el primer disco que escucho de ellos y no me desagrado pero tampoco me impacto.

A true feast for the ears. Love the layering of sounds with beautiful and detailed synths, interesting percussion and captivating vocals. Has got to be the most fun album of the year!
