The song is really directionless and barely maneuvers through its highs and lows, keeping itself on a painfully consistent drive. His performance is enthused as always but couldn't handle the weight of the beat. Though I do like the beat, the looped sample gets repetitive as it isn't the most pleasant noise being as high pitched as it is. I loved Ameer's 'Keep Your Distance' last year, but this new single doesn't reach the same heights at all. Let's start with the positives, I really like the woodwind melodies apperaring in and out of the beat, the samples used here are dope, the beat's good, but then there's Ameer's performance... And his grimy bars aren't bad, but his flows are just so stale, I've heard him overuse these flows to death already, the hook is just really weak, and the song ends way too quickly, it's done after ... read more
The beat is hard and some of Ameer's flows are solid, but the hook is kinda annoying and the song doesn't really go anywhere.

Edit: this grew on me a little. 65 to 70.
Much weaker than his last single. It doesn't really build up to anything and there's nothing about it worth going back to.
wow that hook is absolutely appalling. actual rapping is pretty fine albeit standard; reminds me a bit of amine.
