An emotional and elegant indie folk break-up album. The pain of losing someone you spent so much time with, and trying to move on, is felt in her vocals. As someone who recently broke up, i appreciate and understand the sense of loss and confusion in her singing. The lyrics were also somewhat relatable. But to be honest, I don't think I would've appreciated this particular album at any other moment in my life.

Singer Phoebe Bridgers was recently talking about how she would love Adrianne Lenker to join the supergroup Boygenius and be the Young to their Crosby, Stills and Nash dynamic, but if Lenker isn’t available or into the idea, Arizona based singer-songwriter Danielle Durack might fit in nicely as well. Great album - not groundbreaking in any way, but checks off a lot of boxes I enjoy. I keep coming back to some of these tracks so if nothing else it’s successfully found it’s way into my rotation!
