I’m hearing this being compared to ajr a bunch of times. The only ajr song I’ve heard is bang and I hate that song. I like this Weezer song, so now I’m afraid to listen to more ajr because I’m afraid I’ll like them. This feels like a paradox, thanks Weezer!

This doesn't sound like an AJR song at all to me. AJR is overproduced and obnoxious with way too much going on. This sounds like a poppy Weezer song, but replace the distorted guitar with a violin.
