I’ve been listening to Adult Mom since the release of their last album Soft Spots. Stevie Knipe is an incredible singer and is definitely the highlight of that past album. Soft Spots is not without flaw, feeling shallow and uninspired at times, but it is a catchy indie project. With another Adult Mom project, I hoped Knipe would update their sound to feel more personal and humane.

This is one of the most exciting indie rock albums I've heard in a while and I listen to a decent amount of them. It's your classic indie rock sound but then Adult Mom puts some twists on some songs to make it sound current. Introspective, vulnerable, yet easy-going. I listened to this thrice in a row.
Didn't light my world on fire. Never a good sign when you keep coming back to it realising you've only got a few tracks in each time before you loose interest .
i actually really fucked with this album. i could see why it might not be for everyone, but i really jammed to this.
