By far the weirdest thing i've listened to in a long time. It was almost alien; it felt like i was being immersed in the culture of an alien world - maybe one in the star wars universe. Or maybe it was a depiction of severe psychosis. Whatever the case, i was intrigued from beginning to end during two listens. You should've seen the perplexed look on my face as i listened to this odd musical work for the first time.

I've always said this, it takes real talent and craftmanship to be able to defy genre categorization and just let your own music speak for itself. This album has taken me through a wild ride so unique that my first listen was my only chance to experience something that is so ethereal yet so carnal. Honestly, this sounded like if Michael Jackson decided to learn throat singing and wanted to fuse black metal with baroque folk. I mean who wouldn't listen to that? I sure will!
Norwegian vocalist, Sturle Dagsland's debut is undeniably overwhelmingly chaotic for better or worse.

Together with his brother Sjur, Sturle Dagsland has been catching the ears of many in the Scandinavian art pop scene for past couple years. In fact, I was made aware of Sturle back in 2018 with his messy and hellish single, "Yokai". Plus. let's be honest, once you hear one track from Dagsland, it's hard to forget.

Among the best and most surprising albums I´ve heard !
I fought every urge to turn this off for the first 10 minutes. I really did not like it. I hated it. I don't know why I didn't turn it off.

But I finished it.

Around the 6th track; I started to open up to what it was doing; though I wasn't sure if the tracks were just getting slightly more accessible.

I've now listened to the album 5 times in a row. I love it. It's beautiful.

I don't recommend it to anyone.
