The Magnetic North may not be well known, but the band makes music that ought to be better known because it is just that exceptional. 'Orkney' is a Chamber Pop / Synth-pop masterpiece. Subdued vocals, layers of electronic coloring, strings and wonderfully executed phrasing make this a delightful listen.
