Breastmilk is genuinely one of the funniest songs I’ve heard in a while. My Name Is Dominique is a cool instrumental, but it’s not as impactful as Breastmilk. I liked his album from last year, and I admired his storytelling ability, but something was missing from me and I saw room for improvement. And if his next project is as good as this, I’ll be very excited.
After the release of Little Dominiques Nosebleed (a record which I highly praised) I was very hopeful of what The Koreatown Oddity would release next. While this is far from what I expected, this is still a really amazing double single. The production on both of these tracks is astounding. It really feels like The Koreatown Oddity is on an upward trajectory at just the right time to catapult them further into the mainstream underground scene. This double single EP is absolutely worth the listen if you’re into oddball hip hop.
