Without a doubt one of the most poppy & easy to listen to Xiu Xiu tracks you’ll ever come across. Unfortunately, that’s to a fault. I love love love this direction but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

They create the perfect feeling, making it something you can bop your head to while always feeling uneasy, and it works!

The fact that Xiu Xiu made an actually poppy song is scarier than the entirety of GWABOF

Reminds me of Dear God, I Hate Myself so I’m 100% onboard.

To ease us from the chaotic, fucked-up soundscapes of their last record, Jamie Stewart brings us a dreamy noise pop track akin to the material off of "Forget". I think it's great that they're heading off this direction again! The acoustic guitar and approachable melodies contrast well with the noisy synths and distorted percussion! Jamie and Liz's vocals work great together and, overall, I can't wait to see where their latest album goes!
