Clash

Perhaps his most focussed, revealing statement to date, ‘Money Can’t Buy Happiness’ is packed with detail.

The Observer
Reality bites on the west Londoner’s second album as he puts the spotlight on drug-selling, prison life and those he has lost.

The Forty-Five

Like its predecessor, ‘Money Can’t Buy Happiness’ is a concise affair. The select feature list and continued neat control suggest Fredo’s not just a good rapper but a good editor, whittling down songs until only the finest remain.

Genre: Trap Rap

For fans of: Kano, Dave, Skepta

2020 saw Fredo gain a lot more popular appeal across the UK, due mostly to the smash hit Funky Friday. Ngl I wasn't expecting to enjoy a Fredo album as much as I do with this one. The production is fantastic and he's either talking his shit or hitting us with some more introspective cuts throughout. A really consistent hip hop album and one that will probably be one of the best out of the UK this year. (75)

Edit: Gets better with each listen, really great album

Fav Track: Money Talks ft. Dave

The album was decent, nothing too special. Dave and Summer walker features are highlights, and the beats are pretty good too but nothing special.
