It can all be a bit much at times, but this all-in approach to creativity has been VanGaalen's M.O. from the start, and his talent remains something to behold.
I think Chad has had enough Stardew Valley for now. But seriously, I've always loved listening to folk music that doesn't take itself too seriously. This album has a perfect balance of that crookedness and also calmness. There's a song called "Plant Music" ffs. Also, I said seriously twice in a same sentence. Oh well.
With little things, Chad made a beautiful closeup of what he needed with the album, at least for me. This album is the closest experience of myself that I've been had in years. As he says. Nothing is really that strange. I'm glad to listen to this album
