I didn't know much about Lava La Rue before listening to this, but I discovered them through the nine8 collective and I've liked what I've heard from some of the other members so I figured I'd give this a shot. The group just seems to be filled with super talented rappers and musicians. While this EP is short, it has some special moments on here! I'm glad I checked this out.

I think she said a while back that this EP would be an exploration of Brit Pop, I can hear that on tracks like Angel but personally I prefer her previous alternative hip hop stuff. Still i great EP though.
