Thanks so much @goncalocouto for the recommendation!

Extremely catchy! I really love this!
From the first track Wildheart sunk it's hooks into me, I had a lot of fun listening to this :)

A weak effort in alternative rnb territory. Once again, Miguel brings a massive and loud production to the table and tries desperately to sound as close as possible to his peers in the mainstream even with his off-kilter songwriting style, without defining his identity really well. The fact is, this album doesn't show the production quality found in his previous record, nor does the songwriting maintain (or raise) the level from Kaleidoscope Dream, as Miguel fails in finding the balance between ... read more

From the very beginning of the album, Miguel took a tight grip of my attention with the groovy guitar riffs on “a beautiful exit”. Right off the bat, I was taken aback by sounds and instrumentation that I was not expecting from an rnb record and Miguel just kept the surprises coming through all 16 songs. This is an incredibly unique and exciting musical ride through the world of passion, sex and self doubt and it is one that I will soon find myself enjoying again.

Even over some fantastic production, Miguel's uninspired, bland voice singing line after line about weird sexual fantasies isn't erotic. It's fucking creepy as fuck

Best Track: Coffee or NWA
Worst Track: FLESH

"Wildheart" is Miguel's finest and most stubborn statement. This album is a provocative, and swooning mess and a great way to make babies. It's impossible to ignore his sensual voice that disturbs our mind and feelings. Amazing.

Wildheart didn't grab at the first few listens. Nonetheless, it grew on me immensely. For 2016, I revisit this album more than almost any other.

He's perfecting a new sound surely but slowly. I can tell by the filler between the obvious great tracks.

FLESH, the valley and destinado a morrir are R&B masterpieces. Really, i just dont liked Coffee on this album. It was so much better than Kaleidoscope Dreams. More mature and true sexy.

What sets Miguel apart from other contemporary R&B singers is his ability to successfully set and maintain a seductive mood across a series of songs, and often consistently across an entire album. His lyrics are mediocre at best, and there is very rarely an overarching theme at work on his albums. What he does best is atmosphere and mood, something he does pretty well on Wildheart when he isn't singing about "fucking in the valley" or sing-shouting at a "good fucking ... read more

It's a shame Wildheart has been commercially worse than Kaleidoscope Dream as here, we see Miguel reaching out to the masses with his soaring voice and groovy, promiscuous bass funk. It's more expansive than Kaleidoscope dream and ultimately more universally pleasing. With Wildheart, Miguel's liberating figure is on full display, showing us that it's possible to be corny, wondrous, sexual and sincere all in the same breath. What a great gift for modern r&b.

This album is really best listened to with the standard version, and I can say that it is really amazing. Miguel has become a really consistent R&B artist, and I personally believe this is his most complete project. I love the funk and psychedelia Miguel added to this album. It makes the transition to each song really smooth. A really fantastic job by Miguel

"Wildheart" is yet another Miguel's unashamedly sexy and lush record, dipping in funk, R&B and elements of rock.

'Wildheart' may not hold any of Miguels strongest songs, those are still on 'Kaleidoscope Dream', but as an album this is his strongest effort to date. Miguel still embraces his Casanova persona, but this time around he mixes up the musical styles a lot more, and it is this mix of R&B, Pop and funk that makes 'Wildheart' such an enjoyable listen. With that said, I really didn't like the songs,'NWA' and 'Whats Normal Anyway', the lyrics to the latter sounding like the feverish scribblings ... read more

Miguel’s “Wildheart” is another great achievement for him as an artist and for R&B as a genre. Miguel just previously released critically acclaimed “Kaleidoscope Dream” in 2012 and won himself his first Grammy. After his success “Wildheart” may come as a surprise with its aggressive style or it’s focus on lust. However, this album is about Los Angeles so I guess we can’t be too surprised.
